Home Delivery OPTION 2

With our two man home delivery option, your new sofa(s) are delivered into your home by our own team, placed into a room of your choice and unpacked. Any assembly work will be carried out by our team.Estimated delivery time is within 14 working days on a week day pre-arranged with our delivery team.

Do I get a phone call on the day of delivery?

Yes. Both our express courier and our home delivery team will call you roughly 1 hour before arrival or when close by.

Do you remove the packaging?

Unfortunately not. You’re given by 7 days after the day of delivery to return your sofas if you find them unsuitable. All sofas to be returned must be in their original packaging and have to leave the packaing with you for this reason.

The following applies only to orders placed online, by mail order or by telephone on the web, for items not inspected at our showroom and which were placed after 13th June 2014.

Cancellations

You have the right to cancel your order before delivery or up to 14 days after delivery has taken place.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us LHMP Ltd. t/a Simply Stylish Sofas, Unit 1 Lovell, Lichfield Road Industrial Estate, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B79 7TA, telephone 01827 756 856 or by email at contactus@simplystylishsofas.co.uk of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail).

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your wish to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Returns

  1. Returning a product.

It is your responsibility to return the items to any location from which we do business in a good condition. However we recognise that many customers do not have the means to do this, and so will arrange collection during normal business hours if requested. In such circumstances a charge of up to 20% of the price of the furniture will be made to cover the cost of collecting the items. This charge will be calculated according to the number of items to be returned, availability of a delivery vehicle, your location and complexity of removal.

  1. Taking care of the product before it is returned.

It is the customer’s responsibility to take good care of the product. You are the owner of the furniture once it has been delivered and you are liable for any loss or damage. To minimise the risk of any such claim we ask that you return the goods in appropriate packaging such as to prevent damage in transit.

Until returned, the product must remain unused and in an ‘as new’ condition. Failure to take reasonable care may result in a claim against you

Refunds

Once the items have been returned to us we will reimburse to you all payments received from you including any deposits or costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We will make your reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than (a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any products supplied, or (b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the products, or (c) if there were no products supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

Where we are not collecting products, you shall send back the products or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the products before the period of 14 days has expired.
